I'm so glad that J.J. Abrams knows what he's doing with the Star Trek universe!!

I never have seen anything Star Trek before but with J.J doing this, I might check it out. The trailer looks cool (CGI especially) but some of the trailer makes it look like O.C in space.

Not sure about this new one. From the iBridge (which looks more like a mobile phone gadget shop in Akihabara than a starship command center) versus the hopped up hormones (OC in space sounds about right). If it was more like BSG retake ('realistic' submarine style starship decor), it would be better.

Simon Peggs Scottish accent sucked. Im from Scotland i should know and im from the region Scotty is meant to come from (West Lothian).

He sounded more Welsh than Scottish. Maybe Pegg should have taken lessons from this Scottish take on Star Trek.

I'am interested to see the new take on this. The old ST is pure cheesy fun but i couldn't watch them (series or movies) without anyone making fun comments about them an rolleyes. Just like i learned to love the 'new zombies' as infected that walk a 0.00001 miles per hours, yet kills millions lOL!
