I have a predilection for bad movies to. Every time Time Cops on the TV i watch it and it's on a lot.

I enjoyed The Cable Guy. I think it was one of the best dark comedy's.

Man, this is disappointing. The Mask is one of my favourite comedies and I'm super upset that the disc is so poor. I guess I won't be buying this

Maybe cause it came out right after Dumb & Dumber (classic). I'd have to give it another go I guess.

Just saw The Truman Show a few nights ago and thought it wasn't bad. Interesting concept.

Descent movie. I'll wait till it goes down to like $10 before I buy though.

The Cable Guy is a great movie but it took a few views before I could really enjoy it.

It's just you.

Just kidding. The Beaver reviewer stated the PQ is very soft. I will PASS on this release mainly due to the poor image quality.

I think the transfer looks a lot better than the dvd, personally. Anyway, The Cable Guy is awesome.

Only the last screen shot with the dog looked a little DVD. I was impressed with how green the mask looked.

The image as the reviewer said is considerably darker than the DVD but that's not bad thing. It's just unlike the DVD where the picture was warmed up to try and compensate for the poor quality.

The Blu-Ray is trying to look as natural as possible so it does not have that over warm affect.

Very soft.. look like mostly every single catalog from New Line. This one look like an excellent Hardware upscaled 720x480p source to 1080p... there's no detail whatsoever in anything..
Material : Denon 3808ci, 2xParadigm Monitor 9 v5, 1xCC390, 2xADP390, 2xADP190, Panasonic AE3000 96hz 1080p, 106' screen, Samsung BDP-2550

Shame about this one. I am guessing its the same encode for each region right?

Is this one of WB's contributions?

Colors look a little better from those images but the detail is highly suspect for a modern transfer. That has definitely been DNRed. I will probably pick this up when Warner has to drop it to $10.
