The digital bits have some good news!!! Finally my fav movie will make it to blu ray, now if they could just get braveheart and LOTR EE, and saving private ryan, i would be done!

Gladiator and both Toy Story films will be first day purchases for me. They also state that Goonies and 25th Anniversary of Gremlins are coming.

just watched gladiator last weekend for the 1st time on my new tv. the picture was actually one of the best i've seen for standard dvd in a blu player on an HDTV.

pretty excited for the blu, will also be a 1st day purchase for me.

I thought the Toy Story news was already out. As I was expecting to read something new, but instead read what I already knew, that they were trying to coincide with the new film when it hits the theaters.

I was so-so on Gladiator. So I will probably pick this up on its release date to give it another chance.

I can't wait for Gladiator on Blu! Hopefully, this contains the theatrical and director's cuts of the film and many of the extras found in the 3-Disc DVD version. 2009 is gonna be a great year for Blu-ray.
