Whatever happened to the Dec. release of Paramount's "Stardust"?

It was rumored to be released in Dec., but we haven't heard any release plans at all. Since this was also a HD-DVD release, a Blu-ray release seemed to be a natural.

Are we getting "Stardust" at all?

I've heard those December rumors too, but I haven't seen any sort of official announcement, so I'm guessing we won't get it this month. I think Paramount does still plan to release it on Blu-Ray because they have it listed on an insert found in some Paramount Blu-Rays as coming soon. So hopefully sometime in early 2009.

I was holding back buying this on DVD so that I could get this on Blu, have been waiting for ages though!

I am extremely excited for this movie. I have it on DVD but will definitely be upgrading to Blu, it will hopefully be gorgeous on BRD.

That being said, it can't be too far away. I know the $10 rebate for the Godfather trilogy had Stardust as an upcoming title as well. That will be perfect for when it comes out so I can spend somewhere around $10 on one of the most enjoyable and underrated movies I've seen.
