Default What was your first Blu-ray Movie and Standard DVD Movie?

My firsts were:

- Apocalypto Blu-Ray
- Minority Report Standard DVD (Initially I was against the switch from VHS to DVD, because I did'nt want to "rebuy" all my movies, so I held out as long as I possibly could)

Blu-ray = No Country For Old Men

DVD = Ghostbusters

Blu-ray that I wish I was able to buy first = Ghostbusters
"There's a good wrestler, and a bad wrestler whom he confronts at the end. In between, the good wrestler has a love interest or a child he has to protect. Bill would usually make the good wrestler a backwoods type, or a convict. And sometimes, instead of a waif, he'd have the wrestler protecting an idiot manchild. The studio always hated that. Oh, some of the scripts were so... spirited!"

First VHS: Snow White/Lion King (bought a few months after me and my parents first came to America around 15 years ago)

First DVD: Gladiator (still have it, still play it!)

First Blu-ray: Casino Royale and Troy, although the Panasonic DMP-BD10AK I first used came with PotC 1-2, Fantastic 4, Crash, and Transporter.
- I didn't say that. Lee Majors did.

First DVD was The Matrix. I actually bought this before I got a DVD player because it was on sale and I knew I would be buying a player soon.

First Blu-ray was technically Spiderman 3 because it came with my PS3. Seperate buy was Underworld: Evolution.

I think for DVD it was something like Tommy Boy... nothing spectacular.

For BR it was a couple movies from release week (original version of Fifth Element and House of Flying Daggers, iirc)
