depending on how good the movie turns out to be, i might say Terminator 4.

My name is Patrick Bateman. I'm 27 years old.
I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced
diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning,
if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while
doing stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now.

Inglorious Bastards will be awesome. Along with Avatar (could be good). Throw in Angels and Demons, hopefully better than Da Vinci Code, maybe Hanks and new girl have better chemistry.

I think LOTR has that potential. The thing is... the user base is increasing weekly. By the time LOTR comes out, so many more will already have blu-ray players, making it that much easier for LOTR to break the record.

To be as big as The Dark Knight it needs to be a new release.
Lord of The Rings will be huge but it just doesn't have the push of something you weren't able to own on any formart before

I think Quantum Of Solace has a good chance.

Don't think so. Even with it's large fan base average movie buyers who don't follow releases on websites like these probably won't even know it's getting released until they see it in the stores.

Whereas Dark Knight was being released for the first time on both formats. Everyone knew that.

No, it was not. The films are getting too humorless. It felt like a Bourne film..

And Bond is not Bourne, nor should he be.

There are at least two possibilites for 2009 IMHO: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Star Trek.

Overall I think that 2009 will be a good movie year (Harry Potter, Public Enemies, Avatar, Inglourious Basterds to name a few). But it will be tough for any of the 09 movies to top The Dark Knight.

something tells me they'd advertise it, so regular people knew its going to be a big deal
