The bums lost! Big Lebowski for me.
What did you expect? "Welcome sonny," "Make yourself at home," "Marry my daughter." You've got to remember, that these are just simple farmers, these are people of the land, the common clay of the new west. You know . . . morons.

Finally a poll I can relate too!

Coen Bros are genius. Genius I tell you.

For me...and it's like splitting hairs...Oh Brother Where art Thou? is the winner if your putting a gun to my head.
Nobody has ever done such an insane Depression period piece like this. I love the Depression era films and add the insane characters scripted in this movie, well it's epic.

Tim Blake Nelson is super in this, let alone Clooney and Turturro.

I'd like to mention (so I can add to my library in future reference of this thread) that Fargo is sublime. Macy and Buscemi rofl.
Burn After reading had me and my SO tearing up on lols, and that rare for both to do it.
No Country is so damn good it's not funny. A modern day Western with Bardem and Brolin making superb characters. I never wanted it to end and was very sad the movie was over 'so soon'.
A Serious Man is genius. I was rolling so many times.
Millers Crossing to me is as good or better than Goodfellas. Goodfellas starts off as THE best Mob movie ever and kinda melts in the ACT III.

This thread has made me aware of how many more dam BluRays I need to add. Thanks OP...yr costing me $$!

I love a lot of these but I watch Lebowski more often than any of them so it gets my vote.

Easy choice for me. The only one I particularly liked was Raising Arizona. Just not a fan.

Sorry Guys but on this one I have to say that I'm not a fan I did choose No Country but only as a 1 time view - Hated Fargo thought it was boring, of the others, I think I saw Intolerable Cruelty once but don't remember the storyline. Don't know what the problem is but Coen Bros movies just don't appeal to me...

Default Favorite Coen brothers movie

That is a very, very difficult question but I gotta go with NCFOM. There is so much subtext & so many layers to that movie that I pick up on something new everytime I watch it. And Anton Chigurh is one of the most interesting characters ever put on film.

Originally voted for O'Brother Where Art Thou? but might have to change to No Country For Old Men. My wife does not understand why I love this flick. I don't know either but I do.

Fargo. Awsome film
I don't care for 3D at all. I am just fine with 2D blu-ray movies and my 2D 32" HDTV.

If you live in America, please buy American whenever possible to support our economy!

Wow, was this tough. I went with "The Big Lebowski" because other than Jeff Bridges' Great performance, John Goodman's was also outstanding. Goodman was so serious but such a yahoo that I was literally crying from laughing so hard at his "Different" ways of assessing both situations and people.

Kudos to "Raisng Arizona".....my 2nd choice.

The Big Lebowski. John Goodman was so good in that movie .
Lloyd C. Cramden: Flint, How do you find time to read all these books?
Derek Flint: No, no, no, sir, I wrote those.

o brother where art thou seems to be a retry of rasing arizona...same music and way of speaking and humor...
but unlike most here i prefer raising arizona to o brother where art thou..
i am a bigger fan of nick cage than clooney. and goodman has a better role in arizona.
