Default Eden Lake cancelled??

I was reading over on highdefdigest, and it was said that some reviewers had gotten word that the Eden Lake blu-ray from Weinstein had been cancelled. It is still listed here, so I was wondering if anyone knew for certain? Thanks

It's been removed from most online retailers, so it seems like it's been cancelled.

this is bullshit.
so pissed.

Weinstein keeps cheating us on these awesome indie flicks.
first "Teeth" then "The Promotion" and "Boy A"

It might not have been canceled. Until they come out with a press release stating it was canceled, then more than likely it was just moved to a different release date TBA later

Well looking on Amazon, they still have the dvd set for the 6th, but they have another dvd entry for March 24th. That entry looks to be the blu-ray entry as Amazon sometimes list the titles as dvd when they first put them up. So hopefully it has just been bumped.

Did a quick forum search and came across this. It hasn't been posted on since the 3rd but I'm guessing from what I can tell from this forum and looking on online retailers that this Blu-ray has been cancelled or post-poned. Does anyone have any other news about it? I was really looking forward to picking this up on Blu. If not I guess DVD will have to do but wanted to make sure it wasnt coming out.

Thanks!

It's okay.. it's one of those movies that make you want to smack the main protagonists for being so dumb and hardheaded.

NOOOOOOOOOO! i was so pumped for this. i havent seen it yet but it looks great. For those who have seen it...is it similar in feel to Funny Games?
I wasnt crazy about that flick..but this movie looks more oriented towards the horror genre like the strangers (which i dug).

Also, does this go for the import as well, or just the domestic?

Based on AmazonUK, looks like the Optimum Release is still on. I'd be careful, it might be region locked like Optimum's recent releases.

I received the screener from London around 5.00pm Chicago time today. Expect a review for the film in approximately 24 hours.

Edit: I added up the tech specs. The release is Region-B "locked".

Ciao,
Pro-B

Nice! Look forward to it. Too bad I guess I won't be able to get the Blu Ray.

There's a NL bundle that has Eden Lake, 30 Days of Night, and The Grudge for 16.99 EUR via Mediadis.

http://www.mediadis.com/video/detail.asp?id=416521

Any info on this set? Specifically Eden Lake?

Default Eden Lake sell

I live at Mexico City and here you can buy Eden Lake's blu-ray, maybe you should buy it that way, it looks and sounds awesome.

Here it was called "Silencio en el lago" that is Silence at the lake.
