For $79.99, (Original Price) here's everything you get:

1. The game (duh)

2. A limited-edition (ie., not sold anywhere else) figurine – Ryu in the PS3 box

3. Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind: a 65 minute anime movie — created by Studio 4C — that sets up the story of SFIV by explaining events post-SFII. BluRay disc in the PS3 box! The Xbox version is a 360 game disc that outputs the movie at 720P, not a DVD.

4. A mini-strategy guide from Prima, written by the same people doing the full-on guide and illustrated by Udon Comics

5. CD soundtrack. Rock SFIV stage chunez in your car!

6. …Plus some secret additional downloadable content that we’re not quite ready to reveal at this point. Look for more announcements soon!

Deep discount has this game for under 70 for real.

You know, at first I was not the least bit interested in this title but I guess I'm starting to feel nostalgic. Back in the day when I had a Genesis, I bought Street Fighter 2: Championship Edition and played the absolute fool out of that game. Sagat was my guy!

I'm probably just going to get the regular edition. I don't think any of these "collectors edition" game offer enough to justify the extra cost.

question about the 5 DL characters in the collector's edition, can those be downloadable through DLC with the regular edition later on? could give a rats about all the other 'extras'

After blind-buying MK vs DC, I'll definately be renting this one first and probably will not purchase it.

Though in my defense for MK, I got it on Black Friday at a really good deal.

I'm getting the standard edition at BestBuy as soon as it is released and I have the crazy-apesh!t-insane-omega-controller-of-death pre-ordered at amazon.

I'm hoping they will have one of those hardcover strategy guides for this game too.

In theory, I also want the Ken, Ryu, Chun-Li and Akuma fight pads.
(We'll see about those though)

its not characters its costumes there will be no dlc caracters the producer does not want some one to have an unfair atvantge on line saw an interview on x play a whiel ago where he said that and i know i cant spell geting colectors and the offical fighting stick

Ill most likely end up waiting for it to drop a little or be used copy. I have a hard time paying $60 for a fighting game... Buuuut, if i play it or see it and i think its great, ill get it hahah
