This would be an awesome movie to watch on Blu-Ray! Has anybody heard of a release date?

i believe we will be seeing it announced this year. at least i am hoping so..

for now though, we can enjoy band of brothers. definately pick it up if you havent already.

Day 1 purchase here for Saving Private Ryan. Don't have Band of Brothers, yet, but from what I have been reading it's worth the purchase.

I prefer to be pessimistic and pleasantly surprised and I am not optimistic about any Spielberg movie being released on BD any time soon.

I have been checking for this movie on this site everytime I turn my comp on. I wish there was any news or any indication as to when this movie will be released on Blu-Ray. This is too great of a war movie not to be on Blu-Ray, along with Apocalypse Now. I must say, I am in shock those two movies haven't been slated a release date for Blu-Ray yet.

No one knows??? i want it 2, i did get to watch it on sky movies HD and saved it on my planner and it looked SICK end of.

No link, and what's on Amazon is simply a place-holder. They have similar pages for Star Wars, LOTR, etc... It means nothing.
