Have you read about the new SubM 2 and terraformer (not sure about the names) but the one has two 15" subs with two 18" radiators. Also the price on the std SubM HP is up to $2200!

Morning Bill and DangeRuss.....

How are you two today???

Has anyone been following the Rush Limbaugh/Dark Knight Rises bull$hit?? He says that it is a conspiracy to keep Mitt Romney out of office. He is officially lost his frickin' mind. The scary thing is 20 million people listen to his show!

here is a link to his transcript

Limbaugh on the "batman" campaign.

Here is my favorite line:

Quote:
So, anyway, this evil villain in the new Batman movie is named Bane. And there's now a discussion out there as to whether or not this is purposeful and whether or not it will influence voters. It's gonna have a lot of people. This movie, the audience is gonna be huge. A lot of people are gonna see the movie, and it's a lot of brain-dead people, entertainment, the pop culture crowd, and they're gonna hear Bane in the movie and they're gonna associate Bain. The thought is that when they start paying attention to the campaign later in the year, and Obama and the Democrats keep talking about Bain, Romney and Bain, that these people will think back to the Batman movie, "Oh, yeah, I know who that is." (laughing) There are some people who think it'll work. Others think you're really underestimating the American people to think that will work.
God I am glad I am not one of the "Brain-dead" people.....

They were in each corner of the room and it was unreal. The system consisted of an Integra 80.3, Bryston amp ( don't remember the model # ) JTR speakers, JVC pj and 120' screen.

With the JTR speakers the system hit ref levels with ease and the SubM's seemed to have unlimited headroom, no matter what we threw at them they just pumped huge clean bass. The guy decided to see how the SubM's would sound running 6db hot, the impact and pressurization was intense but didn't sound strained at all. I have never experienced bass like that in a home environment before. When the subs weren't being run hot they blended really well and weren't overpowering at all, really, really clean sounding. It's something you have to hear to get the idea, I'm not doing the best job at describing it.

Up next to released in the Seaton lineup according to Seaton's forum is the SubM XL, dual oppossed 18's with a 4kw amp. The design goal is supposed to be the same amount of output as dual stacked HP's from one smaller enclosure. It's going to be somewhere around $4k.

Still haven't tried out dual SubM's yet, not until we get back home in a week and a half or so.

So when is the arrival of your second SubM?

Congrats btw, I am very jealous! I am very excited to hear your thoughts with two of these "beasts". If I could find a good deal on one I might do it! I am glad to hear you have two SubM's now....

I wish they sold them on Amazon.com right now. I somehow got suckered into a $1000 credit and don't have anything big to buy from them right now.

Thanks, P. Don't be jealous, your time will come. At least you know the direction you want to head and aren't trying other things, I got lucky this time and it didn't cost me any money. The day we see dual SubM's in the Hansson HT will be a sweet day and you'll have a big grin on your face when that bass hits you in the chest.

That's quiet the credit with Amazon, I don't think I could come up with something to buy on there for that much cash either.

I Could say the following: "That Oxycontin Fat-Head Blow-Hard has now Officially LOST IT!!", but, that'd be redundant - he obviously lost "it", Years ago.

Interesting.... Jaws is just a great movie that has great actors at their best and Spielberg at his best. I probably will not pick up the digibook though. The standard edition will be fine.

I got the go for "the dark knight rises" tomorrow at 1pm!! So I might have an early review for you!

That version of Jaws isn't bad at all! Maybe that will be the ticket!

I confirmed the early viewing tonight so we should be seeing it tomorrow around 1pm-2pm. We are not allowed to talk about it when we get to the movie theater. Supposedly they are having advanced showings at 6:00pm and 8:00pm tomorrow night here. I will believe it when I see it though. We watched "batman begins" last night and "the dark knight" tonight so I am ready! Do you think that they will show any of the Joker at the beginning? I would assume they would have tried to pull up some unused old footage and show him in jail or something. Just like Nolan stuck the scarecrow into TDK. They just can't end that character like they did in the last movie!

Nah, I see no reason for them to show his character - maybe they'll have something at the end, or possibly the beginning ("For Heath...", type of thing).

I don't get that "we're not supposed to talk about it" comment

The theater is going to be open when we go tomorrow, usually it is closed. When we saw the early showing of "Avatar" he literally unlocked the doors for us. The manager is expecting people in line waiting for the midnight showings and doesn't want them to be pissed when we walk in talking about going to see the movie early, so we are going to be on the "down low"......
