Awesome. Having a date likely means it's not just a placeholder.

Awesome! I've had to content myself with an iTunes digital copy for awhile now, not being willing to buy the DVD. Day one purchase for me! Gotta love the classics man.

But the DVD would have been cheaper (and looked and sounded better).

Anyhow, I'm anxious for this to arrive assuming its true. This is one of my favorite movies. Hopefully, it won't be one of MGM's crap catalog titles and drop all the extras.

I don't care about features really but I hope to god that they remaster this and that they don't use the same master they were going to use 2 years ago

Yes it was. Hopefully it's not a bare bones, MPEG-2 release.

For whatever reason, I'm not seeing a date listed in the link. Oh well, I hope the date is right cause I've been waiting for this one since it was originally announced a few years ago.
