Anyone know if the bd is going to be the extended cuts with those steamy sex scenes?

There is some type of uncut Highlander shows? I have never heard of this before and must investigate.

The DVDs were as well. It's not just sex scenes.

It should be, but no one has seen the discs yet

How about the original Highlander (1986) movie on Blu,ya know the one with the Queen soundtrack!!! Don't know who owns the bloody rights to this anymore,the Anchor Bay 2 DVD(movie on one disc,Queen Cd on the other) set was awesome with it's metal case,I think It was called The Immortal Edition!!!

Lionsgate now has distribution on the Highlander franchise, and I expect they'll sit on it until their remake comes out. Panzer/Davis (now just Davis) own all Highlander material except 3 and 4, where Dimension owns the films

Yep it looks like its Lions Gate now(for the Highlander stuff),it looks like they also aquired a lot of Studio/Canal stuff,Anchor Bay used to have the rights to it!!! Heck I thought Lions Gate was once Artisan!?!? A new day,a new studio!!!

Lionsgate used to be Canada only and bought artisan to get into the US. Artisan also had a lot of the Canal stuff, Anchor Bay didn't

I know there's action scenes too, but is there any extended stuff that enrichens the plot. I've never seen the DVD versions. I am so glad I didn't and can enjoy the blu-ray.

Is the release date realy Feb 15? Strange how there has been no news updates on The Highlander series on Blu-Ray.
Is the picture 1080i or 1080p? Will the auido be DTS-HD,or Dolby True HD?

I'm actually going to be calling them about this later today, as their page still says the 17th. No screeners have arrived yet, so I'm expecting a delay
