I personally really liked it. I loved X2 and was very worried that Ratner would screw up the franchise but I was plesantly surprised on how good the film was. I was happy to see Wolverine's role beefed up and it was cool to see Beast in action. The action sequences were well done and I was very entertained by the film which is the most important part.

I enjoyed it. It was actually better than the first one in my opinion.

Certainly not as good as X2, but that had a strong leg up by mining the "God Loves, Man Kills" book.

I do think they crammed a bit too much into X3. With the Cure and Dark Phoenix storylines competing for space. And they could have devoted a bit more time to developing the new characters especially. But it was entertaining, and the one X-Men film I enjoy tossing in from time to time to rewatch.

I liked it a lot. It was a quick action movie and the shortest one. I wished it was about 20 more minutes. I can see why people disliked it, but it's just a movie to me.

Having an easy out for Scott's and X's deaths was a good idea.

It was pretty good. I like it. I think it was a major shift in tone and delivery from the first two, which threw people off, and they didn't like it. Someone else mentioned the multiple story lines causing pacing problems, but that's true of all of the X-men movies.

I'd recommend a purchase if someone was rounding out the collection (not that the powers-that-be seem in a rush to get the first two out in Blu).

The Last Stand is not a terrible movie (I'm not a big fan of it either) but there are a couple of things I would have not done in it. The biggest thing is you have Phoenix in the movie, a being totally capable of destroying the entire planet with just a thought, why the hell is she playing second fiddle villian to Magneto?!!!! Also the whole "mutant cure" sub plot could have been left out because, once again, you have Phoenix in the movie...that's all the plot you need.

I think a lot of people jumped on the It's-Ratner-So-It-Sucks bandwagon. I'm by no means a fan of the man, but I thought movie was quite good for what it was. I really think that if people didn't know he was the director, they would have been less harsh on it.

I would say it was a stand up double. Could have been better but then it could have been worse. The Phoenix story was too rushed. I would have liked to have seen Rogue fight at least once, use her powers instead of whine about them. I think a fourth movie (not a prequel) would be needed, they left it wide open.

It seriously sucked. The development was bad. The story was way too jumbled. They should have concentrated strictly on the Phoenix saga and stopped messing up the characters.

Ratner directing didn't make it a horrible movie by itself.

The writing, lighting, acting, grip work, and everything else about the movie made it suck, Ratner was just the crap sprinkles on the $#!+ pie.

Anyone could have directed that pile, it still wouldn't have made it a better movie...
