Igby Goes Down (2002)
Very clever dark comedy with an excellent cast. Hopefully they will release it on Blu ray sometime soon.

Gunnin For That #1 Spot
Its about the "Elite 24 Hoops Classic" in 2006 featuring Jerryd Bayless, Michael Beasley, Tyreke Evans, Donte Green, Brandon Jennings, Kevin Love, Kyle Singler, and Lance Stephenson. Recommended for basketball fans

I've got a million, but I'll stick to one or two at a time.

Murder Party is a good one that came out a few years ago. Not great, but had strong performances and a handful of really funny moments. For those who like gory horror, this is a surprising treat. Hope it'll be on Blu one of these days.

I just found out and bought Leon The Professional starring a young Natalie Portman. I had never heard of it and neither had any of my friends but it has quickly become a favorite of mine. It is more mainstream than most movies listed here though

It's not on blu ray, but I always liked "Switchback", despite it's plot holes.

"Rammbock" is a pretty good German zombie flick.

"Pontypool" is another good zombie movie.

And "Ironclad" is a great medieval film.

Sexy Beast

Ben Kingsley's best performance. Plays one of the crazies characters ever committed to film.

I'm gonna recommend to early Joseph Gordon Levitt films. Starting with my favorite:

Mysterious Skin
Two young friends experience something horrible. When they grow up they deal with it differently.

Brick
A modern day film noir. Set in Highschool. That's all you need to know.

While your at it check out The Lookout. Not as good as these two but still a good watch.

Loved Brick.....need to check out Mysterious Skin. JGL is a great actor, I always look forward to watching his work.

Both fantastic films. Brick's on my Blu wishlist and I hope Mysterious Skin is making it's way to HD soon.

I loved Brick did not care for Mysterious Skin. I think that movie tried too hard.
