I went with Children of the Corn. They just kept on making them and I don't think they offered too much to anybody.

wow, that's a tough decision-- seeing the list it's an eye-opener to
see how many terrible horror flilms there are!

but I would have to say it's a tie between the GHOULIES films and
SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT films since I thought they were all
wretched! Runner up-- LEPRECHAUN series

I can't pick series like HELLRAISER and HOWLING because while they had
plenty of terrible sequels-- the original was still great.

Stir of Echoes? Did they make more of this one? That's how bad it is if so.

Others you didn't mention, that bug me are:
Pumpkinhead
(first classic, all the rest are really, really bad)
Poltergeist
(first classic, the 2nd & third were completely forgettable. Although I will never forget the second and the family floating around at the end. Gosh that was really funny)

I want Poltergeist 2 & 3 on Blu! People say they suck but they sound interesting.

I assume you haven't seen them by your comments. The 2 sequels are on
regular dvd as a double feature for less than 10 bucks.
Believe me when I tell you that's all they're worth!

They must be made horribly because I like the plot (or what I've read of it).

If they're that bad I'll just download it.

not horribly made, just thoroughly mediocre. Part 2 has one scary scene
with the demented preacher at the Freeling's door but the rest of the film
has none of the suspense or style of the original-- and the ending is one of
the worst of all time....laughable and very poorly done.
Part 3 has a lower budget but a more involving storyline and ideas. It has
a very low budget and it shows--I had no problem watching it (I bought
these movies on the dvd I mentioned--but I would not upgrade these to
blu-ray like I did the original.
I would rent them or download them as you mentioned if you want to see them but you will most likely be disappointed.

When I said "rest of them" I was refering to the rest of the list - not meaning there were more than two Blair Witch movies. Sorry.

I thought the Chucky movies were comedies? Never seen any of the Ghoulies so I don't have an opinion on them.

The Saw franchise. Saw 1 was great, Saw 2 was very very good, Saw 3 was good, Saw 4 was bad and I haven't seen Saw 5 yet but from what I hear it is the worst in the franchise.

That was where the second Hannibal Lecter went.

I was thinking Jaws. But I must have wrote Hannibal again. Cause there it is. Sorry, ..in mind, but not in hands, I guess.

Thanks.
