We've seen the release of Cars, Ratatouille, WALL•E, and the Pixar Short Film Collection Vol. 1. Blu-ray.com shows very vague release dates for the remaining: A Bug's Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and the Incredibles. And no information on Toy Story 1 and 2. Does anyone have any rumored or definite release date information? I would greatly appreciate your reply. Thank you. -Jeremiah

Bugs life is set up for an April release, but its not definite
Monsters Inc is set up for June, but again, not definite yet Finding Nemo was supposed to come out last November, and then again this March, but has been delayed. Its possible we can get it this November with UP Incredibles will probably be next year or 2011 Toy Story 1 and 2 will almost definitely be released next year to coincide with Toy Story 3 |

At the very least though, folks, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are getting a theatrical re-release shortly before 3 comes out, so it stands to reason that we'll be getting them in a new home video edition (which, knowing Disney's support of the format should include BD) either at the same time as 3 or shortly before. I don't think they'll put out Toy Story and Toy Story 2 on BD to coincide with 3's theatrical run though. |

I work at emeryville and is about a block or 2 away from Pixar Studios. An animator told me that he didn't know anything about the Blu-ray releases but he told me stuff about Cars 2, Toys 3, Up and he said a mystery title but wouldn't tell me anything about it.
We agreed that we both didn't like 3D movies, atleast they are giving an option of a 3D and a regular movie. |

A box set would be great! I love all of the Pixar productions. They are truly great works of art. I too am not at all pleased with the 3D BS! I'll stick with the 2D 1080p picture , thank you. Plus, those damn glasses suck. Now, what would be really cool is if they released Pixar films in an IMAX theater. Thanks for the links! -Jeremiah

Because Calamari Marionette Ph.D sounded pompous, that's why.

I'm also waiting for the Pixar films. I like the majority of them. A Bug's Life was OK storywise but the animation was on par with all the other Pixar's productions. I'm not quite sure about the new movie UP though. Doesn't seem quite as interesting from the preview so far.
