Play-Asia has Patton listed by Deltamac & 20th Century Fox. I am gonna guess that the JP encode is the same as the US one... but who knows I could be wrong. So how does the HK encode by Deltamac compare? Was it also DNR'd to death?
I'd like to own this but I don't want it looking like it was shot on video. |

The Hong Kong release by Deltamac is a BD-50 only with the same picture quality as the US release.
However, there is a catch with the Hong Kong version: Its just the BD with commentary with introduction. The US release is a two-disc set: BD with commentary & introduction and a DVD with documentaries, photo galleries, & theatrical trailer. Considering that Play-Asia sells for the HK version for nearly $32, you'd be better off getting the US release for the better value. |
