I watched Lost Boys today... now where's my Monster Squad? - Blu-ray Forum

anybody hear news or rumors of The Monster Squad coming to Blu-ray? I got Lost boys this weekend and I loved it, but it really made me want to watch The Monster Squad on Blu-ray

Given the amount of time and effort that it took to get Monster Squad released on DVD, I highly doubt it will ever see a blu release. That being said, I hope that I am dead wrong as it is one of my favorite movies as a kid.

i ****ing loved the lost boys, one of my favorites as a kid.
i agree night of the creeps is dope too.
another couple of movies that were small that i hope to see go "blu"
is:

leviathan (peter weller)
ticks (carlton from fresh prince)
critters

and.....
jaws
the goonies

Monster Squad is great. Plenty of replay value for that movie.

these are my fav childhood movies..i could watch them over and over again

Both Monster Squad and Night of the Creeps were both played on Monsters HD. So Lionsgate should hurry up on that MS blu and I don't know who ownes the right to NotC because my second hand VHS say HBO/Tri Star.

I was at a screening last year of both films with Fred Dekker in attendance, and even he doesn't know who has the rights to NOTC.
He wants to see this finally released on DVD more than anyone I think.
It's a shame too, when you see things like Redneck Zombies get a 20th Anniversary SE put out and films like NOTC rot in a vault somewhere.

Ahhh night of the creeps. I was lucky to download Night of the creeps a while ago. Seems somebody converted the video to dvd format. its still floating around if you look for it. A lot of funny references to monster squad in that movie if you guys notice.

Monster squad and I have a disgusting relationship. I watch that movie I swear at least once every couple months. I love that movie.

Monster Squad !!!! Great movie I bought it not to long ago on DVD... Will def pick up first day release.... but no i havn't heard anything about the release but keep me posted...
