Cool! Another release to keep an eye on.

Any news on a future release of the live action movie BLOOD? It has yet to be released in theaters, so perhaps it's a bit early, but it's a release I'm highly anticipating.

Default not in theaters yet

The live action movie is not in theaters yet, but the trailer is live. http://www.thenewsroom.com/details/3632719

The movie comes out in 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing Jeon Ji-hyun in a very differnet role.

I bought this "movie" on DVD many years ago. It was really good but disappointed in its 50-some minute run time. I have seen the "+" series but never got around to watching it. Does it take place after the movie version?

I won't have this until next week because I ordered it with The Crow.

Based on comments I've read, it sounds like a solid release. It includes two different versions of the "movie", a fully digital transfer and a film transfer.

The quality is very nice on both versions. Only English subs on the main part. Also has a reversible cover and comes with an mini booklet (in Japanese).

Thanks AnimeOnBlu!

So subtitles on both versions of the movie but not the 'making of' extra. I bet the other side of the reversible cover is the old R1 dvd cover?

Yes as to the subtitle question. As for the reversible cover, I have never seen this one used before on any release of the movie anywhere.

Here are some pics (not mine) of the box art: http://blurayblog.blog79.fc2.com/blog-entry-325.html

And that is just the normal cover, the reversible is even nice (it is an expanded version of the disc art).

Is this anime really 96 min long (shown on back pic)? I could've sworn it was only 50-60 min when I last watched it. Anybody know why?

The movie is roughly 48 minutes. So the two versions (film and digital) at 48 minutes would be 96 minutes.
