fyi, the BBS Story blu-ray set is selling online for 50% off at Barnes & Noble. Throw in a 25% off coupon and that should be a pretty sweet deal (google on "dvdtalk barnes" for coupon link - my network's been running slow and I'm going to bed).

WOW! Thanks for the heads up fdm! I'm glad I waited on this!
Look down there. Tell me. Would you really feel any pity if one of those dots stopped moving forever? If I offered you twenty thousand pounds for every dot that stopped, would you really, old man, tell me to keep my money, or would you calculate how many dots you could afford to spare? Free of income tax, old man. Free of income tax - the only way you can save money nowadays. - Harry Lime

Thanks for the heads up on the BBS Story. Just got it for $56.30. I also used code C3N8F7W which gave me an extra 9.6% off the already 50% off.

Canada The Third Man / The Man Who Fell to Earth / Pierrot le fou

My complete Criterion collection has been already sold @ 90%.

I still have THE THIRD MAN, THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH and PIERROT LE FOU for sale; I kept them for the end

All 3 were bought new from Amazon.com and watched once, so they're in perfect shape. I paid for the plastic cases, so no cardboard.

I'm in Montreal. Priority to local pick-up, but if I can't find anyone interested in Montreal, I can ship them.

Prices:
The Third Man: 70$
The Man Who Fell to Earth: 70$
Pierrot le fou: 40$

OR

Buy all 3 for 150$!

Cheers!
Eric

I figured Pierrot le fou might have become unavailable in shops, but wasn't aware TMWFTE had become hard to get.

You can get Pierrot Le Fou on Amazon from someone for, like, $35-40.

Anyone have a coupon code other than C3N8F7W? It tells me I already used that one. (I probably did -- for Apoc Now).

Ah, too bad those 25% coupons are in store only... You're welcome, wish the deal had been this good when I grabbed it last month, but it ended up not being too much more.

When are they going to start releasing Ozu on BD? BFI's already released Tokyo Story and have already announced they intend to release all of his films (or at least all his noted ones) on Blu-Ray, so where is Criterion here? It's a pity they are region locked, as I'd have pounced on them if they weren't.

Merry Christmas everyone! I just only celebrate it due to tradition and not much else.
Here's to hoping Criterion will release everything from the image below onto the Blu-ray along with even more features. I was going to import the UK DVD.
