Can anyone make these out? (besides Life of Brian, Qatsi, etc):

Sure you didn't see an item about Borders? They're the one that doesn't have an e-reader, and thus are in bankruptcy court. I think B&N are relatively healthy at the moment.

As much as I had planned to go nuts during the next sale...reality has hit me hard and I'll purchase very little if any in July. The last things due here are "People on Sunday", "Coere Fidele", and "The Great White Silence". I'll likely get the Keaton box set that's out in two weeks...and then play it by ear for the sale.

The only other choice was to build a functioning car out of a blu-ray player and my existing BD collection.

(And nice work if they CAN get their edition of Life of Brian away from Sony, but I seem to remember it being an Orion/MGM film when it came out.)

I'm assuming that is the Qatsi trilogy on the left column, but only two of them are MGM.

I was hoping someone could discern HIROSHIMA MON AMOUR from the list
One of my favorite titles in the entire collection.

I think I see "Bergman" in middle at the top.

Life of Brian? The third entry in the right column almost certainly says Life of Oharu, same as on the other sheet.

It would be great if Criterion just wrote squiggly lines all over those sheets.

Kobo?? That one is all over the Borders website and emails! We also now sell it at Best Buy, alongside the Nook and Kindle and Sony pieces of garbage, and some generic others...

I have a "Sony piece of garbage," and thought it was a better choice than the Kobo, which was brought about by Chapters up here in Canada. I got my Sony about a year ago. I have the older model of the 6" touch. Mine still has the barrel end AC adaptor, rather than just the USB one that the new model has. I had to buy a PS3 charger for it though, because Sony were total douches in taking all the accesories for my model off the shelf within a month of introducing the new model. The freaking cases don't even fit the older model. It's not a piece of garbage, it works quite well actually. I am getting a Nook Color next week though, to root into an Android tablet.

I've placed my August pre-orders for The Killing/Killer's Kiss & If...; huge price difference from the Canadian site. Hopefully the dollar will still be decent then.

Maybe it's the Eye Chart for Criterion. If you can make out every line then you're qualified to work for them.

I'd love it if people actually talked about the actual films.

I am starting to see titles I want released in this picture despite the probability of what is written not even being close to what I think I see. I need to stop looking at this picture.
