Smile The Snowman

I really hope Raymond Briggs' "The Snowman" comes out on Blu-ray.

I've loved this animated movie since I was probably 5 or so. And to own it on Blu-ray would be fantastic!

For those who haven't heard of it, search "The Snowman" on You Tube. It's worth it! ^_^

I agree, this would look amazing on Blu Ray and I hope it is released at some point because it would be great to have this classic Christmas animation in HD. Ive got memories of watching this every cold Christmas Eve.

I just posted this movie as having the best Christmas song ever in this thread:

http://forum.blu-ray.com/music/15970...mas-music.html

This movie would truly be one of the only first day purchases I would ever make if it were released on blu-ray.
My Unreleased Blu-Ray Wish List:

The Beach - The Village - Matchstick Men - The Jungle Book (non-animated) - Homeward Bound - Indian in the Cupboard - Half Baked - Proof of Life

Display: Panny 46"

Whilst i'd love to see this feature on Blu-Ray, the chances are likely to be very slim. The Snowman, whilst popular with families even worldwide, would probably not profit on the format because its already so cheap on DVD and has been released several times. If it were a full feature then the situation may be different, but at just under half an hour I can't see many splashing out on a Blu-Ray for such a short feature.
