Now that's what I was waiting to hear. I'm glad I didn't buy 4.0 on DVD and I won't buy 4.5 of course.

Still a lot of double-dipping, but I think by and large this show is worth it.

I Agree. This show is def worth double dipping on and I think will look great on Blu. I'm kinda glad it isn't coming out until July. I assume a 4 year series is gonna end up costing quite a bit on bluray. This gives me some time to put a little back each week instead of having to shell out what i'm sure will be @ least $150-200 all at once. I'm taking a guess here...this will prob retail around $199 @ Amazon with their final cost being around $140-$160.

well since the MSRP of Star Trek is 117$ for 7 disc with 29 episodes

How much EP there is to Battestar (counting the Intro 'film' as 2 episode)

I'm kind of scared on the price but if there is a series I would buy the entire thing it would likely be this one.

I count 67 episodes already released (including Razor as 1 and the miniseries as 2) then 10 airing now brings the total to 77.

It's going to take a battlestar to hold all of it. This is surely going to be a costly investment but the show is just too good.

not many shows are worth this type of monetary investment, but this series certainly is.

I for one will buy it! I have the HD DVD season one and I still plug in my X box 360 HD DVD player(bought it for 30.00 after HD lost) to watch it( Battlestar season one in HD I bought for 40.00). I cant wait to hear it in HD Audio!

I fell away from this show a while ago; I would be thrilled to pick up the story again thanks to blu! IMO it was going downhill in the middle of the 2nd season...all of these comments make me feel like it's worth going back...

I stopped buying the DVDs after Season 2 (though I did buy Razor), hoping that this would be issued on Blu-ray. This will be excellent. So say we all!

Man this is GREAT. I am all over this. I really hope in includes the movies. I also hope the packaging doesn't stink like the HD DVD version did.

I definitely like the way you're thinking! Imagine a collectors case of the Galactica holding all the boxed sets...kinda like bookends! Now that would be nice!

It's sucks knowing this incredible, weekly 1,2 punch of Lost and BSG will be ending soon...I can't believe only 5 episodes left for BSG...
