Default Help with connecting speaker wire

I'm wondering how to connect the speaker wire?

With my receiver I just unscrew the pieces a bit and then put the wire between, and then screw back the piece. But it doesn't seem like it works that way with these speakers?image.jpg

Instead of bare wire use banana plugs

The banana plugs don't fit into these speaker outlets like they do with my receiver ones. I must be missing something....

It sure looks like you just unscrew them. I looked at the online manual and it doesn't say anything special.

Gorgeous speakers btw!

Unscrew it part way & see if there is a hole to put the bare wire thru in the post

Since you haven't removed the jumpers, just twist and use bare wire.

The specks say it has 5 way binding posts so there should be a hole & banana plugs should all work ~ If all else fails then unscrew it & wrap the wire to it & them screw it back down

No, banana plugs will fit in them. Unscrew the nut on one black and one red, like you already did in the photo for the top one. Remove the red/black plastic cap, exposing a hole into a sleeve. Check that the banana plug fits in this sleeve now, it should, might need a little extra force. Now remove banana plug, put nut back on and screw on all the way, tight. Banana plug should now fit in the sleeve again. It could be tight, might need a little extra force or the nut is not tight. I had similar issue with my Mirage OMD-28 speakers.
