I was really hoping for the Christmas release as well but for them to delay it 5 months, it gave them a lot more time to refine it and if it is as good as I think it is going to be then it will be well worth the wait!

Awesome trailer! I can't wait for this movie to open. I was afraid they were going to ruin it when I first heard they were making it, but it looks like I may be pleasantly surprised.

As a trekker, I was very cynical and wasn't sure if I wanted to see it. Now, it's got me almost as excited as the new Wolverine movie...which I didn't think was possible.

Looks very promising. I'm a big Star Trek fan. If this goes over big, it will give new life to a great franchise. I would love to be able to look forward to more Star Trek movies and hopefully another TV series.

I'm a Star Trek fan, and I'm hoping that this reboots the franchise. I would rather take this over no Star Trek movies. I'm withholding final judgement until I see the movie itself, but so far it's looking good despite the minor inconsistencies.

can you say preview chills, it looks awesome, shows a lot more then the previous 2 trailors, its on the apple site in 1080p if that isn't the hidef trailor in the OP.

love the line, "been waiting your whole life", cause i have been waiting mt whole life for star trek to actually shift direction from what what laid down in stone in TNG. Cannot wait for this to hit theatre's
