Default Horror Plots? What Blows Most?

Aliens, bacteria, dinosaurs, hockey-masked maniacs, what horror menace sucks most?

His first order will be to demolish the Hollywood sign and replace it with a Barack Obama statue. There will be hundreds of global warming movies, where Al Gore narrates everyyyy singleeee oneeee. Rambo sequels will be replaced with P.E.T.A. action movies, but the Russians will still be the villains.....WWIII will start shortly after.

It's interesting because a film with the title "Casual Sex" probably wouldn't be released today. I think it did hurt the film, but I think Smith was just naive and didn't count on how conservative this country is.

But at the same time "Chasing Amy" wasn't called "Holden Screws a Lesbian".

That was then, this is now.

He still... should have known.

The thing is just called Zach and Miri in many markets.

Whoops. ...What a thinker.

i've only seen a handful of films from before 1967 actually
i tend to prefer more recent films over older films
now thats not including "classics"
e.g. star wars, rocky, etc. (but those are still AFTER 67)

but the majority of my favorite films are from the last 20 years

That's when films fundamentally changed. The beginning of the New Hollywood and so on...

I'd say that that's true for most people.

I'd like to meet those who differ. However.

I saw this movie when I was about 6 years old I thought it was great and scary! So I bought it in 07 at the age of 27 and rewatched it and it was horrible!!! I buy a lot of child hood movies and very few turn out to be as good as the 1st time I saw them.

Have you traveled to Nebraska? Living there would force me to worship Satan, just to keep myself entertained.

Actually, it's 6 sequels.

Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice
Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest
Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering
Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror
Children of the Corn 666: Isaac's Return
Children of the Corn: Revelation

.........I will give you a cookie if you watch them all in one sitting.
