Default Batman Anthology, Who's getting this?, Thoughts?, Pictures Thread

Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology Blu-ray

Somebody here ALWAYS gets big Blu releases early and this comes out in just a couple days.

Does anybody here have pics of the front, back and insides of the cases?

Why would you want slipcovers if they're in a boxed set? Is a shame to see the discs housed in those extra slim cases.

I like slip covers. To me they keep the cases extra protected from dust and whatnot.

So, will those covers, with simply the logos, actually be on the american blu-rays as well? That's what it implies, but I'm not holding out any hope until I see proof.

Sad to see that the original Batman with Michael Keaton got a so-so review at best as far as audio, and just a decent one for the video. I know it's 20 years old, but I hoped they could really wow me with it as it was my favorite of the set. Is it available for purchase seperately, or are we stuck buying the whole box here in the U.S.?

Yes, I'll probably just end up buying only the first two, imported, from J.B. up there - don't want to get those last two in the box-set....lol.

A FREEZE IS COMING! lmao. Ohh man, maybe just for Mr. Freeze's cheesefest though.
- I didn't say that. Lee Majors did.

I just bought this. Sadly they are slim cases and the Blu logo across the top is apart of the cardboard piece on the back that has all the details. Once you open the shrinkwrap, this cardboard piece falls off leaving the back of the case just black.
....and so says the Meeklo

Slim cases really? Wow, the UK boxes are thick, and US are slim? In the picture it looked like they were standard cases.

I picked up the Anthology today and what i hate is the cheap cardboard box the the movies are stored in. For a high price of $100 atleast Warner should have stored the movies in a hard box like with the Bourne Trilogy.

So instead of buying the slim cases, you'll buy the thicker import cases? Seems like a lose-lose if you're after standard BD cases. Personally, I'm fond of anything that takes up less case, so slim cases are great.
