Has anyone else been hearing any buzz about this phone? Do you think it'll be worthwhile, or way overhyped? For anyone who doesn't know, it will be Verizon's first 4G phone with a dual core processor.
There's no official release date yet. It's been pushed back on more than one occasion. Verizon's site has been recently updated to show September, but there's still no specific day. Rumors have been floating around for September 8th. http://shop.verizonwireless.com/?id=Droid%20Bionic What do y'all think?

I was waiting for the Galaxy S II but because of the news that it will not be coming to VZW, I may end up settling for this one. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Last I heard though, it "only" has a 1 GHz DC processor and 512 MB of RAM compared the GSII's 1.2 GHz and 1 GB respectively. The screen is a higher resolution though but so is the Droid X2. And after seeing it, I was a little disappointed with it. I don't see why it would be any different. The Droid Charge and the GSII are going to have the same screen. I think Moto will follow suit in that regard.
