I just finished loading my digital copy and I am extremely disappointed. They only put out the digital copy for The Matrix. Reloaded, Revolutions, and The Animatrix have no digital copies. They couldn't put in copies for all the movies or what!? This is crap.

You should buy the Ultimate Matrix Collection for the excellent quality of the Blu Ray's,not for Digital Copies,At least that's my opinion!

It's the same (almost) for the recently released Batman Anthology. Only Batman (1989) came with a digital copy, all the others...ziltch!

it's not like digital copies are a requirement for every blu

If you want a "digital copy" so badly there's plenty of other ways to get them without hoping to get one included with a blu-ray movie. I will leave the rest to your imagination.

Not entirely true. If you own the movies, you're allowed to make/obtain backups for yourself.

I hate digital copies, I wish they would stop adding them in movies and charge us extra for those, if they do. I have no use or wish to use digital copies, when I watch movies I want the best PQ and AQ possible, not on some weak-ass portable devices.

Are you though? I thought the illegal part was circumventing the copyright protection, which you need to do to make copies, whether you sell them or not. In the warning screen at the start of each blu-ray, it says "copyright infringement, including without monetary gain, is punishable by...etc..."

ONLY if it doesn't involve breaking copy protection software... which is illegal. and are there any good bluray movies without copy protection? probably not.

All valid arguments gents, however I use the digital copies to load onto my iPod. I started getting into this when I bought Horten Hears A Who and loaded the digital copy onto my iPod and played it on a Samsung 52" LCD via iPod to TV cable, and the quality was awesome! I bought the Matrix collection definitely for the quality, but I was under the impression that it came with a digital copy for all of the movies. Oh well.
