Default The Matrix 10th Anniversary Edition vs. Ultimate Matrix Collection

I realize the 10th anniversary edition doesn't come out until the end of the month, but I was curious as to what the main difference is between this edition of the Matrix and the one that is included in the collection.

I don't own the Ultimate Matrix Collection although I was contemplating purchasing it eventually (hence my dilemma).

What would be the best course of action here?

As it's Warner Bros... expect no difference what-so-ever...

expect it to be the EXACT same disc... containing the same encode error that plagues the original disc throughout the world

As far as I know the only difference is the single disc, 10th anniversary, version will be in a digibook package.
Still waiting on Pink Floyd:The Wall (1982) Blu-ray release.

What encode error exists on the first Matrix disc? I'm aware of a flaw on the 3rd film, but not the first.

Same here, it took blu-ray for me to get the Ultimate collection and I'm more than happy with it so I doubt I'll ever buy the Matrix again.

I think I might buy it because I can't justify buying the trilogy since parts 2 and 3 were kinda lame.

It's a case that opens like a book. Literally, imagine a book sitting on your shelf. It's the size of a regular BD case, but has nothing to keep it closed and nothing to conceal the inside of the case. You pull the case off of the shelf and it opens LITERALLY like a book would.

I hate them!

The difference is you are not paying one hundred dollars for the matrix anymore... because who really wants the sequels anyway.
Most people see things that are and ask "why?",
I dream things that never were and ask "why not?"

I love them. Glad I waited, because I really hate the sequels and would rather have the digibook.
