Just want to ask a question, Is the old barebones T2 Directors Cut version in the skynet edition? I think it is and its either the Special Edition or Extreme Special Edition..Please can anyone confirm this and If it is in the new skynet edition I can guess the PQ of that edition *Directors Cut* is slightly better on this than the last release?

Thanks. PS I am a new Member

Has anyone noticed that the rear centre on the 6.1 DTS HD track has no effects or music coming from it ?

On mine it's totally silent.

I watched the special edition and completely forgot about the "happy ending"

In all honesty though, as much as it is a iconic film, with hindsight there is a lot of cheesy stuff in there! Or maybe that's just the special edition with all the stuff they cut...

The only things that really bug me about the movie are some little goofs.
Arnie and Furlong are under the truck at Enrique's place, fixing it up. They are having the talk about crying and all that jazz, and Arnie is grunting and breathing heavily as he exerts himself.
Not very robotic.

Default UK vs US Skynet Edition

I've read somewhere a couple of months ago that the US Skynet Edition has better picture quality than the UK version. I don't remember where I've read it. Can someone confirm if this is true? Are there any other differences?

I'd just buy the US version if it had been region free, but I live in Norway (region B).

I love music: http://www.setlist.fm/user/are1981 (around 95% complete)

What is 'BR'? If you're talking about 'Blu-ray Disc', you should use 'BD'. But, considering Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) don't know how to spell, who could blame anyone for using an erroneous initialism for said company's trademark.

No. The UK discs and the US discs use exactly the same master. Neither one is better, they are both the same.

Are you really sure of this? Can you please confirm with a source?

Look here on the video bitrate coloumn of the US and UK Skynet Edition:

This webpage - http://www.blu-raystats.com/Stats/De...on_12236103646 - also list the same video bitrate on the US version. But they have no data on the UK version.

I have the UK steelbook tin Skynet edition, and noticed that the disc is labelled rated '18' with the regular Skynet edition labelled '15'. Is this a misprint on Optimum's behalf, or an earlier release?

Thanks if you can help.

What's the difference between steel tin and steelbook? I noticed this on when I was looking for Terminator 2 steelbooks.

Postscript.

Don't be so impatient, rude & lazy! Use the search button (like everyone else does) kindly provided at the top of the page and you will find your answer. It has been asked many times and there are loads of posts with pictures comparing each type of packaging.

Forget it, I just bought it. I'm pretty sure its a real steelbook and not a iron pack.

It's some weird mistake, might be worth extra one day....

My Certificate no. for the UK is VFD08991 and the Irish is OPTBD1647. Check your 18 Certificates.

Only The Terminator had an 18 certificate on it's cinema release it's now 15.
