My sister-in-law's has 80125 and is a 32GIG. Mine has 80127 and is a 16GIG. She purchased hers when they first hit the ground. I purchased mine last week.

I wonder if the serial number coding is somehow tied to the region in which it was distributed/sold. My number is much "higher" than the ones being mentioned in this thread.

A buddy of mine is an airline pilot in China. He has a different SIM for every city he stays in so obviously his phone is unlocked/jailbroken. He started with Skype but it didn't really work out so he now uses some VOIP app. I don't know what it is but he pays fractions of a penny per minute. When calls me it comes in as a local number that I can also call him on. I'll see if I can get the scoop for you.

Here's something I've encountered recently with my iPhone that is a bit puzzling. This is for the network techs. I'm a bit of a tech myself, but this one is beyond me...
So I've got a couple different speed test applications on my iPhone, which I use at various times to test 3G and Wi-Fi data rates. For some reason, the "test results" ALWAYS show that the 3G connection has greater bandwidth availably both up and down than my home network. Now, I do have basic DSL, which was recently upgraded to 1.5Mbps-3.0Mbps, so I'm not trying to say I've got some kind of awesome Internet or anything. It is the fastest available DSL in my area as of right now, though. Any time I run the test at home on my Wi-Fi, I get ~2.4ish on my down, which is pretty good considering my plan. When I'm doing the test under 3G, it is pretty much always at 2.4 or 2.5; basically it always reports back as the same or better than my DSL Wi-Fi. That in and of itself is not what's most puzzling to me. What gets me is how even though the 3G results always come back as faster than my home DSL connection, when I'm surfing from my iPhone at home via DSL, it is undoubtedly faster than when I'm on a 3G connection. The conundrum/enigma is like so: why is my 3G up/down test reporting as faster, yet it doesn't perform anywhere near as well as the DSL, which reports as slower?

Is anybody else hooked on Angry Birds? I can't stop playing! Best dollar I've spent in who knows how long.
You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you. They will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.

Beat it awhile ago, they need to do more updates and especially the graphics for retina display. It was fun though, for sure. Been playing street fighter 4 a ton, amazing port.

I received my free case yesterday. Went with the Griffin Reveal Etch. I'm digging it. Easy to slip the iPhone in, but it's nice and snug. The bumper part is a soft rubber that doesn't interfere with button/attachment functionality. The back has a semi-shiny carbon-fiber weave pattern. It looks to provide good protection without sacrificing the sleek design of the iPhone. I'm glad I went with this over the bumper.
