Finding Nemo 3D Blu-ray Review

http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=8906

Quote:
On the heels of their announcement to re-release Finding Nemo theatrically in 3D, Walt Disney Studios has now teased a Blu-ray edition of the same film.

The story of a neurotic clownfish (Albert Brooks, Out of Sight) who teams up a blue tang suffering from short-term memory loss (Ellen DeGeneres, Doctor Dolittle) in order to locate his missing son, Finding Nemo is the last full-length Pixar production not available in high-definition and the studio's second-highest grossing theatrical feature. It earned $339,714,978 domestically, which is just under Toy Story 3's domestic gross of $415,004,880.

The minute-long teaser has Brooks and DeGeneres' characters swimming towards a faint blue light which ultimately turns into a "Disney Blu-ray" graphic. At the end of the clip, title cards read, "Finding Nemo: For the First Time Ever on Disney Blu-ray."

No further details are known, either on the disc's eventual release date or on its possible technical and supplementary specifications.

There are not a lot of these animated movies that I can see myself buying. There are just sooo many of them now that they feel liek they are being killed and then recarnated and killed again.

I will definitely purchase Finding Nemo though. I currently do not own any BD animated movies, but I think I will soon get Monster House, that movie was prime!

I think the Toy Stories and Monsters Inc are the best.

I would definitely like to see this one on blu-ray.
My 1 1/2 year old loves pixar animal movies-of course
his favorite is Cars-he has watched that a million times-
that is a number one Priority on my list
If you were to compare Blu-Ray and HD-DVD - wait....there is no comparison. Blu-Ray is the ONLY high def format.

Same here Our youngest son (2 1/2 yrs) has been watching that movie twice as day for weeks! Now he is down to once a week. I must have seen it more than 20 times myself because of that, but I'll still buy it on a BD.

Nemo was one of the movies featured in the first big Disney Blu-ray promo. I'm sure as hell hoping that means it'll be one of the first Pixar's to make it to Blu-ray. Ranking Pixar's is near impossible but Nemo struck a chord with me as a father. And looking at the dvd now, on an HDTV over HDMI it's quite shocking how sorry it looks. Very possibly the worst looking Pixar DVD.

Yeah, I love Finding Nemo. My girlfriend and I collect animated movies, so there are a lot that I'd like to see on blu-ray: Toy Story, Bug's Life, Monsters Inc, Over the Hedge, Antz, Shark Tale, Madagascar, Cars, Ice Age, etc. I know some of these are coming, but I wish they all were.
Blu Blood runs in my veins...

Default Finding Nemo!

Well I assumed it would come out eventually, but while at best buy today I went over to the tv they have set up that not only plays blu-ray but is 120hz and 24p, anyway they changed the disc to a blu-ray promo disc from spiderman 3, and one of the movies in the clip was Finding Nemo, which by the way looked phenomenal on blu-ray, not to mention everytime I see movies , or clips on this 24p tv, I start to wish I waited to by a new LCD.....
