I say, put it after Nemesis. Since the Spock Prime story takes place after Nemesis.

Ah, I misunderstood. I interpreted it to mean TMP and Nemesis (two films generally maligned) he was deciding where to place Star Trek (2009) in terms of preference.

I hope so.....they should stick to original material or mix in some of the T.V. show. I hope they dont get stupid and try to throw in new Generation stuff in.....some of us purists will commit suicide in front of the studio gates!

I wodner if one day they might make a new next genration. Some ppl might think thats a bad idea but if they could cut out all the tec talk it could be very intresting.

I would prefer they stay away from Khan (been done well) and Borg (different era). If they wanted something original I'm sure there have been stories of the young Jim Kirk that could be used as a basis either from novels or things referenced but never explored. I think the Kingons are the obvious protagonists. I also wouldnt mind seeing a movie set in the Terran Empire down the road when the crew is more established. Im thinking Uhura in a Terran uniform and Zachary Quinto with a gotee.

I believe you misunderstood me ,I thought it was great, and cannot wait for the blu. Is it a prequel or an alternative time line in which it could be justified as a sequel. Whee on my shelf do I put it, is what I mean.
