I absolutely loved 'The Square' & Ruben Ostlund, still upset with myself I didn't make into NY for the NYFF. The film is really artsy/fartsy (you'll literally see what I mean) but, it pokes fun at what's art & if this is the point it has gotten to (in some instances) then, we mines well just help others in need instead of wasting money on making it. Also love his other film called 'Force Majuere.' I definitely recommend them, they're very different.

I like The Beguiled, though I've never seen the original.

I watched Woodshock over the weekend. I totally dig it and I don't understand the hate, but whatever. Also watched Better Watch Out, The File on Thelma Jordon, Eraserhead, I Married a Witch, and Ronin over the weekend.

Hey man, I received your request....just figured I'd send you a "what's up." Really liked 'The Killing of a scared Deer' & 'Wind River.' Two films that were good this year. Been trying to catch up w most I missed this year.... I actually enjoyed 'The Beguiled' was better than I thought it'd be & found Body Heat at BBY for $5.99, pretty good deal. My Suspiria Synapse Blu just came today, so I'll def be checking that out later.......Hope all is well and have good holidays! LMK what you been watching.....
