    Thanks for the response. Might be the best release of it we'll see so it looks like I'll try and track it down. Not sure why the movie seems to get little to no love.

    Slums of Beverly Hills played in my Seiki with it set to Region A. In motion, the image looks old but decent detail overall, no signs of noise reduction or sharpening. When paused, compression artifacts are plainly visible within the grain field, but they read like film grain in when the movie is in motion.

    can you confirm region coding on the German release of Slums of Beverly Hills? How does it look? Sorry. I can't find much info. on the release.
