I'm baffled. I was searching online for a solution to a problem we're having with our Blu-ray player and Google pointed me to a similar post in your forum. Thinking I'd found a site that could help us I joined Blu-ray.com, composed and attempted to post a new topic.

I got this msg box telling me that as a new member I was not permitted to create a new topic. Somehow the logic behind what seems to be an absurd policy eludes me. If I were permitted to post and receive replies to that post, does that not indicate that I'd be returning to the forum? And does that not open the possibility of me finding other topics intriguing? Topics I might reply to? As it is I certainly can see no future between Blu-ray.com and myself.
