    I enjoyed your review of Kino Lorber's Blu-ray edition of The Appaloosa and appreciate you mentioning the commentary by myself and Paul Scrabo. However, someone sent me the link to the review and pointed out an error. I would urge you to listen to the first few minutes of our commentary track again, as you misconstrued what we said. In your review you say that we state that 1966 was the last great year for westerns. In fact, we never say that- quite the opposite. We point out that critics tend to say the western was in decline during the sixties and we say we believe that is nonsense, given the amount of great films of the genre that defined that era. I believe you misheard what we said and would respectfully request that you change the first lines of your review to more accurately reflect that our opinion is the exact opposite of what you state. Thank you.
