I have to agree with you as Battle Royale was a revelation watching it for the first time. And I haven't watched Boardwalk all the way through... I've only seen two episodes of it but I like it for the most part.

Battle Royale is one of my favorite films of all time. Great pick up. House is insane as well. If you want to see a Japanese gangster flick, check out Outrage. I see you own Boardwalk Empire. What did you think of it? I have been enjoying watching TV on BD or NF and was thinking of buying B.E..

I've started picking up some Japanese titles now... House was just batshit crazy (and beautiful) but Battle Royale was what lit the fire under my ass. Can't wait to check the titles out.

Blu-ray sales have been out of hand but hey, I have the money and bills are paid, why not splurge if I can, right? I figured I'd barely break even in March between bills and all the wonderful releases this month but I'm doing pretty awesome! But all is going well here otherwise.

There have been some crazy price drops lately. Great for collection, not good for wallet. You are right: Buying BD's is fun, but watching them on something nice is even better.

I've been on a buying rampage with all of these price drops. But with my new television, I'm definitely looking forward to experiencing them.

As a follow up, I ordered the five I listed below and Amazon has already sent 12 Angry Men/Gimme Shelter/House and due for delivery tomorrow.
