I understand. I never send anything without tracking. Just offers protection for everyone involved.

I've sent out two of the cases already via USPS (shipped in a box with bubble wrap and paper padding). One was $4.97 to Maryland and the other was $5.14 to North Carolina, so that should give you an idea of what it's looking like. All things considered, it's not too bad.

I'm a little skeptical about USPS cause my g/f sent me a package containing some cookies, some dvd's and a $50 Best Buy giftcard back in January and it still hasn't arrived. I know most things get delivered fine but I think if I'm gonna use USPS I'm gonna spend the extra $.50 or so and get delivery confirmation.

I frequently ship UPS at my job and the past few years their prices have skyrocketed, and their rates change pretty much daily. I'd guess you are thinking of what Amazon or some other online stores charge but either they got some sorta sweetheart deal due to how much they ship out or they eat the difference, but generally it costs the company I work for about 3X what Amazon charges to ship something.

You raise a good point. The singles that I've sold on Amazon Marketplace (back when the RE steels were popping up at Walmart), I bubblewrapped the HELL out of and mailed in padded mailers. They all arrived at their destinations safely. However, if members here are concerned, I could always find some small boxes to mail them in instead. I'd imagine that would cost nominally more. I won't know until I mail one though. My primary concern is to keep the cost as low as possible without sacrificing item safety.

PS. $10-$12 seems pretty high, even for UPS. I could be wrong though. As far as USPS goes, Media Mail would be cheapest, but even if it's bumped up to Priority Mail, I really don't see shipping being more than $5 or $6 for a small box.

I'm curious how are you gonna ship out those Avenger metal cases for $3? I had a member PMing me about my extra Lion King case and when I used the UPS computer at my job to get a estimate for shipping it was in the $10-$12 range. Now I'm guessing you will be using USPS but does a metal case qualify for media mail? Also curious how you would package them to keep them in good shape during transit.

Sorry for noob questions but I'm kinda clueless about this stuff.
