WTF?! So now they decided to sell us to investors?
Sucking our blood is now not only by the government but INDIVIDUAL investors through the government?

This is true and I have been shipping movies lately to my brother in the US and to a friend in Europe hoping the pandemic will end soon and I can get my stuff one way or another.

It's not just Aramex's incompetence, the Egyptian customs are the main culprit.

I didn't notice anything different, but it foreshadows what's to come in the foreseeable future. The guy from S&S I spoke with few days ago said the customs will keep complicating things further, meaning no one will be able/afford to buy online anymore!

I did complain to Amazon and told them everything about Aramex's practices.
Amazon promised to investigate but we can never know.

I saw the email from Aramex S&S today and it is the same as the previous one. Or is it different?

This confirms my suspicions, the Customs know that Aramex is weak, so they pressured them to squeeze out more fees from either you or Amazon. You should've filed a complaint to Amazon or at least notify them of how things are truly like at the Egyptian customs, its almost extortion!

Edit: Have you checked today's Shop and Ship email reminder about customs charges?
