    Yes, exactly, that's what I'm saying. A 35mm *print* is not a master positive, fine grain or otherwise.

    My recollections are that a "fine grain" and a "master positive" are the same thing - a positive copy from the original negative.

    On Where Love Has Gone vs. the Jerry Lewis Olive films in terms of sharpness, keep in mind The Geisha Boy and Rock-A-Bye Baby were shot in the larger negative area Vistavision format. Of these three, I have only seen the Blu-ray of The Geisha Boy but thought it looked very nice.
