that won't have anything to do with it. the amp is only supplying the power to the speakers to allow them to attempt to reproduce the level of volume asked of them. if you keep the volume to a respectable level you won't have any problems. the amp is only going to give you power when you request it or when the source request it.

Recently I did move to another house (my parent's house). Got an offer on my house that I couldn't turn down in this economy, and waiting for my new house to be built. The HT is in a tiny room in my parent's basement (ya I know a married man with kids going back to his parent's basement LOL). The room is 13 by 13. You think the XPA5 is too powerful for a room that size?

you know Al, you can't put a price tag on peace of mind so the Klipsch appears to be the right choice for you and it's giving you peace of mind. As for the XPA-5 i've never been happier. i have a 7 channel system and let's face it the first 5 are the most important, so, i have lots of power and lots of headroom available to me and those 5 axioms and remember my front 3 are 4 ohm loads so the XPA-5 has been nothing but incredible for me and for them. I highly recommend it for your 5 primary channels! best of luck, slap Peg on the butt for me and good luck finding that missing copy of "Big Un's"!

Axiom! Great choice. Was leaning toward Axiom and Paradigm because they are domestic mfg. Just couldn't pass on Klipsch, got a great deal. How you like the Emo's? I'm looking to get a XPA3, but just might splurge a little and grab the XPA5.

    How you like your XPA5?

"Gee Al, I'm horny as hell" Well gee Peg, I'm horny too but you don't see me bothering you now do ya!?!" I loved that show, the Bundys are the modern nuclear family and the son has become the father and the daughter has become the mother and vice versa! Al had some really good lines in that series between him and peggy! look forward to your updated gallery buddy! by the way, i've finally updated my gallery to reflect the changes, please stop by, take a peek and give it a rating and leave a comment or two.

Cheer for taking a look at my HT. Close up pics are coming soon. Actually moved to a different house. When I get everything up, close up pictures will be there
