it was pretty bad, The CGI was so distracting and really took away from the feeling of Carpenters Thing.. Their was just no suspense at all, it was cheesy and offered nothing new. it got really annoying how Mary Winstead was explaining every single thing that was going on... Stay away and give it a rental.. Carpenters Thing is my 2nd favorite movie of all time.. this is just a slap in the face to even be called "the Thing"

Haha oh come on. I thought it was great. I've been told that the extended cut is much better. Though I guess I do deserve getting killed over it for my campaign against Battle LA.
