The new mods to your system looks great. I'm currently in transition to go immersive myself. I just installed new acoustic ceiling tiles along with reinforcing the grid to accommodate the weight of the heavier tiles and the 4 speakers I will be installing. I am going to have to piece-meal upgrade.
The Yammy is yielding better sound than the Anthem AVM50?!!!! Wow, that's impressive. Now here's my question,... Is that because of the higher bit rate that the Yamaha can decode from the higher res audio (ATMOS/DTS:X) 4K blurays? How about 2 channel audio? Anthem's stereo DAC's are top notch. I'm not doubting you, I'm just amazed by your assessment.
