Do you have any idea when the UDP-LX500 or a successor will be available, and when HDR10+ will be added? I recently upgraded from a 2010 Samsung C7000 to the new VIZIO OLED (I waited for an OLED that supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, not just one or the other) and have been wanting to upgrade the Samsung C6800 Blu-ray 3D player I got free with the C7000. I've only had a Samsung C6800 and E5400 (in another room) so I figure I'd invest in a high-end player this time around. I started buying Ultra HD Blu-ray discs near the beginning of 2020 and am still dying to watch them. I also want to get in to Super Audio CD and DVD-Audio (yes, I know, they're hard to find, but I have heard great things about these "dead" formats from the audiophile and surround music communities.) And no, I don't want a Sony because Sony doesn't back HDR10+.
