The 806 has the Bi-amp feature on it, which I used before, but only in 5.1 mode. I ran it like that for a while until I added two more speakers for a 7.1 set-up. The amp is a totally different animal! It worth it my friend. I had 130w going to the top and 130w to the bottom of each RTi10. It sounded better, but nowhere near how the amp sounds.

Im not in any rush, but i want to track town an 876, or a 906. It would basically keep me from having to add an amp to the equation since they both have BTL Capability For Front. which would put the mains at 230-ish WPC. Along with other little things. Honestly ive never owned an Elite, so i dont know how they compare to the Onkyo's. But from what people say about them i wouldnt think that would be a bad way to go.

What are you replacing the 806 with? I been thinking about changing out as well. Maybe an Onkyo 807 or a Pioneer Elite thx 21 or 23 model. I don't like the trigger not working in 7.1 mode. I have to turn my amp on by hand.

Hello there my friend. I snuck on in there and got me an amp. I ended up not going with Sony, and got the Samsung 55" 120hz for $1799 and it went back up to 2,019.99 last week. I also love the sub! Cant wait to see your new led. Waiting on your pics!

Thanks for the compliment on the wire management. I got those RTi4s on a closeout deal for $199.99 a pair at Crutchfield. They got cherry RTi4s as well.

Thanks man its definitely been a work in progress. I get to rip everything apart tomorrow. I ordered new 12 awg cable and banana plugs, so im going to take my time and really do some wire management. You did a great job with yours BTW. How much did you end up paying for the Rti4's? They are going to be my next speaker purchase to upgrade the Monitor 40's. I spread my speakers out about as far as i can get them, we'll just have to see next week when the XBR gets here if they look spaced out enough.

Hey man. Love your bedroom set-up. When you move and get those speakers spread out, you will really see what they can do. Seeing your cherry set-up makes me wish I had chose those instead. I just ordered me a set of Polkaudio RTi4 bookshelf speakers from crutchfield.com yesterday. I am going to expand my system to 7.1 this weekend, and will be adding several upgrades within the next few months. Great start! You will get the upgrade bug soon my friend....
