New Layout of Site

I'm finding the blue thread titles are harder on the eyes than the black, so I've switched to the Classic skin (User CP->Edit Options). The only negative I've seen with the Classic skin is that the graphic at the top of the page isn't as nice.

I like how the sub-forums have been organized today much better than yesterday. The way they were yesterday just made too big of a list. That's a big improvement today.

Yeah I just changed to classic as well. I do like the re-organization of the forums and sub-forums. But the graphic changes aren't to my liking all that much.

Yeah I switched back. Classic style doesn't show trading score, collection, or HT gallery under the usernames on posts. Very important stuff in the trading forum.

I have to be honest with you, I'm not really liking the blue-colored links. I preferred the black colored ones, since they're easier to recognize. Oh, well. It's Blu-ray.com, anyway.

thanks for putting the ps3 forum back where it was, its much better to not have to scroll down to get to it, love the changes guys, keep up the great work!

You can change the style of the forums by just scrolling to the bottom of any page and using the drop down menu in the bottom left corner.

What would be cool is if they created 2 themes. The new one and the new one with the old font/color/type. That would be ideal. The other styles in the list do not show the trading and other additions like another user mentioned.

Yup. It can be done, they just need to "copy" the current them and change it back. Shouldn't be too hard.

The forum-layout is more or less stable for now, but we will work more on the design, link colors etc. The idea is to improve readability, not to make it worse

We can also definitely add an extra legacy template of the previous design for those who which to use it

Well I like the way it looks for now. My biggest problem is the link colors they are very light and could be difficult to notice (Works like a Chameleon if know what I mean) with the layout. Darkening the link colors would help out.

Anyways, appreciate the hard work you guys do for this community, and keep it up.

I am very confused by the new layout. As a creature of habit, it will take me a while to get used to it.

All the forum title changes are great in my opinion...some were too long before and cutting them down makes them much more succinct and to the point (and just easier to pick out in general). Still not crazy about the lack of underlining but that's just my .02 (and is also a minor issue).

I use the "New Posts" link at the top frequently when using the forum, but something has to be done about the four "announcements" by moderator Maximus (Max). They really do not apply to most forums and they take up a huge amount of real estate on the screen, making the "New Posts" search a lot less useful because of the scrolling involved. I beseech someone to remove them or move them to their appropriate forums.

click the announcements and they'll go away. you haven't "read" them yet
