Ah, just one of my last "discoveries": Aunque in Spanish (which I know) is exactly the same as in Greek. What are the odds? ;-). Or door (porta) in Spanish... ;-)

returning from Santorini from the summer vacation I just want to send you a sunny! (very sunny, ie. Greece) hello! My skills in Greek are constantly improving - at least orally (writing is a totally different matter... "discolos" ;-)). After one year of really taking Greek on, I am now able to talk to Greek ppl in basic sentences ;-) - (present, past and future) and I also understand some ;-)).

Recommendations, just a couple, would be nice. My best friend at school was Greek-Cypriot. We used to watch movies a lot around each others houses. I would have loved to sit around with him and his dad watching movies his dad remembered from the old country but alas that wasn't an option.
